Arizona-Sonora News Service January 2017 – present
Produce at least four in-depth news feature stories for the student-run wire service throughout the spring semester that explore issues involving the environment and social justice, stories also contribute to content published in the Tombstone Epitaph. Highlights include stories exploring uranium contamination on Navajo land and criminal exonerations in Arizona.
Tucson Weekly August – December 2016
Produced both news and food features throughout the fall semester as well as contributing to the daily and weekly calendar. Other duties include publishing two to three blog entries per week for “The Range: The Daily Dispatch.” Highlights include two news stories on the Tucson Unified School District Election and a story on Tucson’s only Bosnian restaurant that is owned and operated by former refugees who fled from the Bosnian civil war.
Arizona Daily Star June – August 2016
Covered local news, development and news feature stories on a given deadline complete with photos and/or graphics. Highlights include stories on legislative district elections and a story on new development with a graphic designed by myself and the Star’s graphic designer.
The Daily Wildcat, University of Arizona Newspaper October 2015 – May 2016
Managed a desk of around 20 reporters and assisted them in developing story ideas. Other duties included producing news content for the paper, copy editing and collaborating with other desk editors in designing the news section.

Cover stories about UA news, police reports, breaking and investigative news by a given deadline. Highlights include an investigative story about a religious cult and another on the mishandling of money by student government. Covered breaking news such as protests and shootings. Wrote a news feature in memory of the UA College of Nursing shooting.
